In collaboration with Face and Pakistan Arts Council for the first time ever, FACE Music Mela will be held in the United States of America as part of the music residency program called “ArtEngage” funded by the U.S Embassy of Pakistan.

Kashif Ali Dani

Kashif Ali Dani is an accomplished tabla player of Pakistan who has played with many famous artists and has performed in various countries including Europe, UK, Middle East and India and has played at “All Pakistan Music Conference” in Pakistan. Dani has also performed in collaborative style throughout Europe including Switzerland, Poland, Holland, Germany, Italy, France Thailand, Azerbaijan and Australia. He also had the honor of playing with maestros like Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, Ustad Hussain Bakhsh Gulu, Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan, Ustad Sharafat Ali Khan, etc

Rimsha Qureshi

Rimsha started performing at the age of 6, and entered the commercial music scene in Pakistan in 2018 with Coke Studio Season 11, as a vocalist with the band Sounds of Kolachi. She was the lead vocalist in the band, along with being the lead vocalist for Karachi Jazz Band and a solo performer. She was part of several commercial projects as a singer and songwriter, such as Dhaka se Karachi (British Council Pakistan), a music story between Bangladesh and Pakistan, Karachi Fold Orchestra with Mai Dhai and Wahab Bugti, the re-recording of Pakistan’s National Anthem, and many jingles for mainstream brands. She traveled across Sindh and Balochistan and learned from indigenous artists, picking up different styles of singing, and Kazoo (an instrument).

Sidra Kanwal

Sidra Kanwal is a singer from Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan Specializing in pop and folk in Urdu and Wakhi language. She started her career in music in 2014 from the 5th China Children Arts Festival. Associated with Bulbulik Heritage Centre, she had the privilege to perform in Sri Lanka with international artists in 2018 in collaboration with Goethe institut and Global Music Academy and was also a part of re-recording the National Anthem of Pakistan. She has performed at various festivals including FACE mela Hunza and concerts all over Pakistan. Apart from singing she also plays Rubab.

Sattar Jogi

Sattar Jogi is a master musician, storyteller, snake charmer and a well-reputed and influential member of the Jogi tribes of Nagarparkar. Despite being a master player of Murli Been (snake-charmers flute), Sattar Jogi has a keen knowledge on the folklore of Sindh. His storytelling and wisdom are equal to his mastery on the endangered musical instrument Murlee (Been) and he is leading his way towards introducing and promoting the Jogi culture worldwide.

There is no one out there passionately pounding the drum kit as beautifully as Lis Viegas. The multi-talented artist has been a highly-sought after professional drummer since 2007. Often performing at concerts and festivals all around the US, she is known for her electrifying performances that always get the crowd going. Her skills have taken her all around the world performing in various groups — fusing her passion for travel with music.

Nimra Rafique

A professional singer with over a decade of experience and great achievements to her credit, she has been working with great names in Pakistan such as Rohail Hyatt, Bilal Maqsood (Strings), Ahsan Bari, Junoon, Ali Azmat, Noori and many other various artists. She has been an integral member of Coke Studio and has featured in Seasons 9, 11, 12 and 13, and 14. She also
featured with a band in Pepsi Battle of the Bands, and Bisconni Music. Besides corporate TV series, she has sung numerous OSTs with ARY, GEO TV, Hum TV and other channels. Nimra also serves as a lead vocalist in the band Sounds of Kolachi. She is also known for OSTs in many Pakistani dramas.

Ritika

Hailing from Hyderabad, young Ritika is a highly talented sitar player and one of the youngest female musicians of Pakistan. She is the student of the legendary Ustad Rais Khan Sahab. Her musical journey belongs to the Mewati Gharana. She is the first female sitar player in Pakistan that represents the Hindu community of this region. She performed the sitar on various platforms such as Coke Studio, All Pakistan Music Conference, Arts Council Of Pakistan, National Academy Of Performing Arts (Napa), and Pakistan Television (PTV). She has also performed in various live sessions in other countries including India, UK and Canada.

Bryce Lamar

Bryce Lamar is a vocalist, electronic producer, and a guitarist currently living in Los Angeles. His music combines otherworldly instrumentation with hypnotic dance beats and soulful vocals. A guiding voice amongst his peers, he continues to produce events worldwide to foster an intense unity and harmony within the community.

Iislamudin Habib

Islam Habib is a Folk Singer, Musician, Multi-instrumentalist, and Poet hailing from Altit, Hunza. He has mastered 18 instruments. He has performed in many concerts, including the “Roof of the World” concert in Khorog, Tajikistan, and Dubai Expo 2020. He has collaborated with many musicians, including a Danish live-string band.

Evan Hatfield

Evan Hatfield is a multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer from Los Angeles, California. Evan’s music fuses together the worlds of South Asian Classical sitar, and deep electronic grooves. He has been studying the music of South Asia under the mentorship of Paul Livingstone, who is one of Ravi Shankar’s only American disciples.

Shaukat Ali

Ali Adil is one of the classic maestros of Balochi Banjo, an ancient indigenous and endangered musical instrument from Balochistan. Ali Adil is playing Balochi Banjo and has been teaching it since 1990. His style of creating music with this instrument is both traditional and contemporary. He has also created a variation in the design of Balochi Banjo giving it an innovative look, yet keeping its traditional feel. He was awarded with a certificate of recognition by the Government of Balochistan in 2015.
